Spanish Company Operates in Cuban Economic Zone
Monday, September 9, 2019

Havana.- The Mariel Special Development Zone, in western Cuba, has incorporated the Spanish company Grupo BM Interinvest Technologies Mariel, S.L.U.

The firm was authorized to operate for a period of 40 years by this branch, which will build and operate a platform equipped with offices and warehouses for industrial and service use.

In that regard, it is worth mentioning that the development plan of the Zone includes the creation of infrastructure and services to strengthen the business environment.

In the enclave, 46 companies have been registered, 22 of which are already operational, with a total of two dozen nations represented by them.

This Cuban project to attract foreign capital in 2018 captured investments for 474 million dollars, its historic maximum record in that indicator.
