Havana.- Arlenis Sierra, one of Cuba's best cyclists, was included among the world's top ten road cyclists.
Sierra occupies the ninth position of the ranking with 1,091 points, after improving two places with respect to the previous update of the world list.
The Cuban cyclist is also the best located in the Americas and she is only surpassed by the best riders in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and Australia.
Sierra's most recent tournament was the route race at the 18th Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, where she was the champion and added 150 units to the ranking of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
It is worth mentioning that Sierra is also the captain of the Astana Women's Team club, and in the next few days she will return to the world circuit where she accumulates important results.
