Electronic Commerce in Cuba's Economic Agenda
Monday, August 19, 2019

Havana.- Electronic commerce has gained ground in Cuba's economic agenda, with several options to promote that sector in the population.

In this environment stands out Enzona, the first Cuban online payment platform, which handles electronic transfers and payments from devices.

In a first phase, the company allows operations between natural persons, and subsequently it will be possible to charge and pay for services in currency stores, pharmacies, construction material stores or warehouses.

According to data from the developer, since the launch of the application, more than 644,000 pesos have been transferred or received from mobile devices or computers.

Enzona needs about 15 virtual stores announced last April by the directors of DataCimex, as well as more benefits in the establishments and more POS terminals.
