Havana.- The book Conversaciones al Lado de Cinecittá (Conversations besides Cinecittá), by the moviemaker Arturo Sotto, offers readers elements related to film creation in Cuba.
The book, published by Ediciones ICAIC, shows the work by filmmakers, directors of photography, assistant directors, producers, editors, sound engineers and special effects specialists, as well as art directors, costume designers and musicians, among other professionals.
The testimonies of Miguel Mendoza, Nelson Rodriguez, Raul Perez Ureta, Raul Rodriguez, Juan Padron, Leo Brouwer, Livio Delgado and Manuel Perez Paredes, all National Cinema Award winners, Prize are included in the book.
Sotto has directed the films Talco para lo Negro (1992), Pon tu Pensamiento en Mi (1995), Amor Vertical (1997), La Noche de los Inocentes (2007), Breton es un Bebe (2008) and El Misterio de las Aguas (2009), among others.
