New Capacities for Tourism in Cuba
Monday, July 15, 2019

Havana.- The Cuban tourism industry aims to close operations in 2019 with the addition of 3,808 new hotel rooms.

Authorities from the sector indicated that 2,404 other rooms will be added after undergoing capital renovation.

In that regard, Havana will have 13 new establishments, including the hotels Paseo del Prado, Cueto Palace, Paseo Portals, Vedado 500 and Vedado Azul.

Extra-hotel units such as Club 500 will also be added, and the tourist and recreational centers 1830, Don Cangrejo and La Ferminia will be remodeled.

Plans also include the inauguration of two hotels on Cayo Guillermo and the first hotel in Cayo Cruz, which will be operated by the Spanish chain H10.
