Colombia Adopts Regulations on Tourist Accommodation |

Bogota.- Colombian authorities will apply regulations to tourist accommodation services, with a view to guaranteeing competitiveness in the sector.
In addition, this decision prevents the informality that threatens the quality and security of accommodation.
The new law defines tourist accommodation establishments that maintain a regular offer, such as hotels, inns, resorts and camps, in addition, tourist homes such as farms and apartments that offer these accommodation services to one or more people, together with those who offer this option sporadically.
Coupled with this is the need to have basic information on the hotel registration card, with parameters such as name, nationality, date of arrival and departure of the guests.
