Havana.- The Lucia Iñiguez Surgical Clinical Teaching Hospital, in the Cuban eastern province of Holguin, stands out for its services over the past two decades.
Experts particularly highlighted minimum access surgery, as well as bone and kidney transplants.
Surgical activity in the center gained prominence after the incorporation of specialties such as neurosurgery, orthopedics and maxillofacial.
At the same time, the ophthalmological center, incorporated into the facility, stands out due to excellent work and the high number of patients operated on with the using new technologies.
Together with this, the repair of the clinical laboratory, the kitchen and the construction of a new geriatric ward started recently.
