Care Center Favors Maternity in Cienfuegos |

Havana.- The Cienfuegos Maternity Palace, capital of the central Cuban province of the same name, was credited as a center that is Friend of Mother, Child and Girl.
This condition responds to the actions carried out, including educational talks about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding and the benefits of breastfeeding for the child and the mother, as well as the need to prevent zica during pregnancy, among other health promotion actions.
Usually, the institution welcomes patients with risks of prematurity, low birth weight, multiple pregnancies, risk of gestational diabetes, and pregnant women to term who reside in distant places.
The Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative is a global effort launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
