Santo Domingo.- The tourism sector in the Dominican Republic has improved its offers to tourists with a high purchasing power.
As part of that strategy, luxury hotels such as the Gran Bahía Príncipe Esmeralda Don Pablo Collection, run by Grupo Piñero, have been inaugurated in the country.
Another new luxury establishment is the Bávaro Family Deluxe, inaugurated by Barceló Hotels and Resorts in Punta Cana.
In addition, the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club Hotel in Cofresí, Puerto Plata, was enlarged with a tower for apartments, a lounge bar and a restaurant.
The chain Hard Rock International signed an agreement with Palace Resort to build the first Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana, which will offer 1,790 rooms.
