Havana.- Mobile telephony in Cuba has incorporated new value-added services based on SMS, whose platform has been designed and operated by Cuban experts.
Users can consult the program in movie theaters and vote in cultural contests.
The value-added services for cell phones are aimed at making better use of the infrastructure developed throughout the country.
Those applications can also provide services to businesspeople, including production reports, business notices or alarms.
Experts think that modality will incorporate new options after the system's response capacity and coverage is tested.
