Cuban Beach Volleyball Players Excel in Dominican Republic |

Havana.- Ion Canet and Nirian Sinal won the gold medal at the opening of the second beach volleyball circuit in the Dominican Republic.
The Cuban pair defeated Costa Rica's Ingrid Morales and Natalia in the gold-medal game.
In the men's category, Yoendry Kindelán and Leonel Munder finished fifth after losing in the quarterfinals.
In the women's competition, Cuba and Costa Rica were followed by Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic II, Barbados, Guatemala and Dominican Republic I.
Among the men, the final ranking was as follows: United States, Puerto Rico II, Jamaica, Puerto Rico I, Cuba, Costa Rica I, Dominican Republic II and I, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Barbados, Costa Rica II and Guatemala.
