Havana.- The Cuban women's judo team finished fourth by countries at the World Cup in Budapest, Hungry, where China was the winner.

Cuba won a gold medal, which went to Yurisel Laborde (78 kg), who beat France's Lucie Louette by Ippon in the finals.

Other Cuban judokas who competed in Hungary were Anaisis Hernández (63 kg) and Yalennis Castillo (70 kg), who finished fifth, and Idalis Ortiz (+78 kg), who placed ninth.
