Cuban Volleyball Players Train for Int'l Competition |

Havana.- The Cuban men's volleyball team is training hard to compete in the World Championship, to be held in Japan from November 17 to December 3.
As part of the training, Cuba will play two games against Poland, which also qualified for the World Championship in Japan.
Cuba was included in Group B, along with Brazil, Germany, Australia, Greece and France, while Poland will play in Group A, which also includes Egypt, Puerto Rico, China, Argentina and Japan.
The Cuban team will also play friendly games against Bulgaria, which is in Group C, along with the Czech Republic, Italy, the United States, Venezuela and Iran.
The players on the short list for the team are Pavel Pimienta, Tomás Aldazábal, Yasser Portuondo, Osmany Juantorena, Ariel Gil and Odelvis Dominico.
The other team members are Jorge Luis Sánchez, Dariel García, Michael Sánchez, Roberlandy Simón, Yoandri Díaz, Raidel Corrales, Oriol Camejo, Raydel Delgado, Gustavo Alvarez, Raydel Hierrezuelo, Keivir Gutiérrez and Yadier Sánchez.
