The different rooms display significative exponents of the fauna of Pinar del Rio province, including others from different latitudes. The primitive fauna of Pinar del Rio province can be seen through the fossil remains, such as the plesiosaur, a huge marine animal that lived in the waters millions of years ago and was great part of the territory. The trigonies, considered the oldest Cuban fossil of Cuba, can also be seen in the Museum. There are samples of the development of species from the emergence of life to men. Fossil remains.
