Description
The Conde de Villanueva Hotel is located in Havana's historic heart, or Old Havana, which was declared a World Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), due to its architectural and cultural values. The building was the residence of Claudio Martínez de Pinillos, Count of Villanueva, a prominent figure linked to the Cuba's economic flourishing in the 19th century. The establishment, characterized by interior patios, stained-glass windows and spacious halls, is dedicated to cigar aficionados, who can buy the best brands of Havana cigars at its Casa del Habano, and enjoy the pleasure of smoking in its private salon.
