Cultural and Historic Relics Exhibited in Cuba
Monday, November 18, 2019

Havana.- The Cuban capital is hosting an exhibition of cultural and historic relics, as part of the festivities on the 500th anniversary of Havana.

The exhibition consists of objects used by Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, Jose Marti, Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda and Ignacio Agramonte, from the cities of Trinidad, Camagüey and Matanzas.

Also on display is the Parra Cross, from the town of Baracoa, and Havana's Giraldilla.

The artifacts are being exhibited at the Palace of the Marquis of Arcos in Havana's Cathedral Square.

The initiative responds to an action by the foundational towns to publicize elements of their history, in addition to paying tribute to the Cuban capital.
