Improved Quality of Life in Western Cuba |

Havana.- The Augusto Cesar Sandino General Hospital, in the western Cuban province of Pinar de Rio, has contributed to improving the population's quality of life.
The hospital's director pointed out that assistance work focuses on the municipalities of Sandino, Guane and Mantua.
For this, the hospital has Pediatric, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Nephrology wards, an Intensive Care Unit and a small Operating Room.
In case of hospitalization, there are 100 beds, together with X-ray services, ultrasound and video liposcopy, in addition to a Blood Bank and a laboratory.
Regarding the medical staff, four obstetricians, three clinics, a geriatrician, four pediatricians, six nephrologists, four intensivists and two graduates in Intensive Care are working in the center.
