Text on Health in Adolescents Launched in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuba's Editorial Ciencias Medicas presented the book "Prevencion de la Conducta Suicida en adolescents"(Prevention of Suicidal Behavior in Adolescents), which is targeted for teachers and medical staff.
According to experts, the book provides a methodology to prevent suicidal behavior in this population group.
In this regard, it exposes the epidemiological behavior, the current situation, the general characteristics of adolescents and those of people with suicidal behavior.
Together with this, it offers theoretical aspects about factors linked to these events, their attention, management and monitoring, while providing tools for a better interpretation of the topic, which include the general characteristics of adolescence, risk and protective factors of suicidal behavior, family environment, alcohol and drugs.
