Urology Service in Ciego de Avila Highlighted |

Havana.- The Antonio Luaces Hospital, in the eastern province of Ciego de Avila, offers an excellent urology service to the population, thanks to the appropriate technological conditions.
In the center, minimum-access surgery is used to treat conditions such as urinary lithiasis.
With the use of these techniques, 18 surgeries were performed in 2015, last year ended with 97, and so far in 2019, 84 such surgical procedures have been performed, with 220 patients attended to at the hospital.
The institution has a hospitalization room in that service with nine beds, and emergency services, together with 10 outpatient offices.
The results in the use of these procedures demonstrate a transition to much more sophisticated medical care, which has allowed greater patient's satisfaction by reducing pain, surgical time and hospital stay.
