Early Music in Cuban Capital

Havana.- The Cuban capital stands on the stage of several days dedicated to early music, organized by the Office of the City Historian.

The initiative is also sponsored by the Ars Longa Ensemble of Early Music, based in the Church of Paula.

The program includes the concerts "El Clarino Barroco", by Yasek Manzano and Barbara Llanes, together with Roxana Coz, as well as "Baroque Versioned", with the Ventus Habana quintet, Ensemble Nueva Camerata, Aires Tropical and Santa Cecilia.

There are also "Routes of the European Musical Baroque from the 17th and 18th Centuries", performed by the Ars Longa Ensemble of Early Music, directed by Teresa Paz.

Finally, the presentation "Sopranos vs. Castrati. The Eternal Rivals", with soprano Johana Simon, and the Khronos Trio, the Transition Quartet and harpsichordist Sunlay Almeida.
