Havana.- La Conchita factory, in the western province of Pinar del Rio, will benefit from the assembly of new production lines to meet the increased demand.
According to experts, the renewal of the equipment will allow expanding offers, improve quality, replace imports and achieve a greater presence in the international market.
In that regard, the work will begin without affecting daily operations, for which alternatives will be implemented to guarantee the productive flow.
The mango campaign recently concluded with some 2,430 tons processed to make compotes, jams, juices and creams.
At present, the plant is processing fruit pump, together with the traditional assortments that complete a portfolio of three dozen highly demanded items.
