Havana.- The cultural institution Fabrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), based in Havana, was included in the list of the world's 100 best places by Time magazine.
The publication annually celebrates the innovation and originality of extraordinary destinations that offer visitors a unique experience.
According to Time, the cooking oil factory turned into a community project has become the city's creative center, with galleries, performance art spaces and a dance floor.
For this annual guide, the magazine requested nominations in a variety of categories, including museums, parks, restaurants and hotels, from its publishers and correspondents around the world.
Subsequently, it made an evaluation of each site based on key factors, including quality, originality, sustainability, innovation and influence.
