Ministry of Health Launches Call to Train Doctors-Specialists |

Havana.- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health launched a special call for the training of professionals in several medical specialties.
According to the institution, applications from the provinces Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Matanzas, Villa Clara, Sancti Spiritus, Camagüey, Holguin, Granma and Santiago de Cuba are accepted.
In other provinces, applications will be accepted in exceptional cases, excluding Guantanamo and the special municipality Isla de la Juventud, where no applications will be accepted.
The positions to be filled include pediatrics (21 places), anesthesiology and resuscitation (16), internal medicine (14), pediatric surgery (nine), hygiene and epidemiology (nine), in addition, gynecology and obstetrics (seven), clinical biochemistry (five), pathological anatomy (five), normal and pathological physiology (four) and pharmacology (four).
