Fertilizers for Cuban Agriculture |

Havana.- The NPK Nitrogen Fertilizer Factory, in the central province of Cienfuegos, is carrying out projects to start up operations.
The plant has a production capacity of 55 tons per hour and was built with an investment of nearly 40 million pesos, four million of which were contributed by India.
The mixed fertilizers of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) are necessary for the soil, so that plants can build their tissues, grow and develop.
The first stage of the NPK project covers the minimum operation complex of the plant, which enables production levels in line with the requirements of Cuban agriculture.
As of 2021, the demand will increase, so the second phase must be ready, which includes warehouses to keep the raw materials.
