Cuba Excels at U-12 Baseball Championships |

Havana.- Cuba finished in the third position in the U-12 World Baseball Championships, held in the city of Tainan (Taiwan).
The Cuban national team won a game against South Korea by 2-1, thus winning the bronze medal.
The Cuban team was dominated by pitcher Jaejung Lee, whom they scored a hit, a home run by first baseman and fourth batter Christian Saez, with a running on the bases.
Alejandro Prieto pitched for Cuba. He was also the third batter in the lineup, and allowed four hits, one run, three strikeouts and the same number of balls in 5.1 innings.
Cuba lost to Taiwan and Japan to subsequently accumulate three victories and access the Super Round, where it won the bronze medal.
