Havana.- The company Acosta Danza, directed by the dancer and choreographer Carlos Acosta, is putting the finishing touches on the presentation of its "Season XII" at the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.
According to organizers, the program will consist of pieces from the company's repertoire, such as Imponderable, by the Spanish choreographer Goyo Montero, as well as Twelve, a show by Jorge Crecis that combines sports, dance and mathematics.
Together with this, the world premiere of Llamada, a choreography by Goyo Montero, is planned, in which the artist presents several questions about the sexuality and personal freedom of each human being.
The company's repertoire includes choreographies by Carlos Acosta, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Justin Peck, Marianela Boan, Goyo Montero, Saburo Teshigawara, Pontus Lidberg, Christopher Bruce, Rafael Bonachela, Maria Rovira and Jorge Crecis.
