Improved Healthcare Infrastructure in Holguin |

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Holguin is making progress in the execution of an investment program to improve the region's healthcare infrastructure.
Actions focus on the fundamental aspects of repairs and maintenance of facilities, including hospitals, clinics and elderly homes.
Among the works underway is the restoration of at least six Family Doctor's offices, which should be completed in late July.
The construction works also involve the Guillermo Luis Hospital, in Moa, and the Octavio de la Concepción and Pedraja Children's Hospital, as well as some areas of the Vladimir Ilych Lenin Hospital.
The total fund allocated to these actions in 2019 exceeds 14 million pesos, which are prioritized on the maintenance, remodeling and rehabilitation of the medical centers.
