Cuba Hosts International Course on Dengue |

Havana.- Cuba will host an international course on dengue, zika, chikungunya and yellow fever.
The 16th edition of this specialized event will be held at the Pedro Kouri Tropical Medicine Institute, one of the organizers of the event.
In addition, the Pan-American and the World Health Organizations, the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba and the Cuban Society of Microbiology and Parasitology are involved in the organization of the course, during which participants will be updated about the global epidemiological situation of the main arboviruses, laboratory diagnosis, and the development of vaccines and antivirals.
The program includes a theoretical section with lectures, round tables and symposiums, and another segment on topics such as clinical-pathology, entomology-vector control, epidemiology, community participation and costs of the disease.
