Cuban Wax Museum Celebrates Anniversary |

Havana.- The Wax Museum of Bayamo, the only one of its kind in the country, is celebrating its 15th anniversary in July.
As part of activities, an exhibition of the technique for wax modeling will be held, with figures of different species of birds and other animals from the biodiversity that exists in natural parks in Granma province.
In addition, several singers, together with the Yacare Orchestra, will animate an evening in front of the museum's headquarters, on the Promenade on General Garcia Street.
By the end of the month, a sculpture of the distinguished poet Carilda Oliver Labra will be unveiled.
The pieces in the permanent exhibition are life-size sculptures that were modeled in polychrome wax by the brothers Rafael and Leander Barrios Milan with their father, Rafael Barrios Madrigal.
