Spanish Cinema in Cuban Capital

Havana.- The Cuban capital is hosting this month an exhibition of Spanish motion pictures, with movies filmed between 2014 and 2019.

The exhibition opened with Dolor y Gloria (Pain and Glory), the most recent creation by the outstanding filmmaker Pedro Almodovar.

According to organizers, the films in the program have won a total of 23 Goya awards.

Other motion pictures are Carmen y Lola, El Reino, La Reconquista, Campeones, Los Dias que Vendran, La Enfermedad del Domingo, Buñuel en el Laberinto de las Tortugas and La Isla Minima.

The exhibition of the best works of the All about Pedro Contest, composed of 48 posters created by young Cuban designers inspired by the work of Almodovar and his 70 years of life, will be held.
