Monday, June 17, 2019

Havana.- Cuba will host the 14th edition of the International Seminar on Journalism and Tourism this month, with a view to promoting the country's attractions.

The agenda of the event will address matters such as sustainability, heritage sites and environmental issues, with an emphasis on Cuban scenarios.

One of the first lectures will be in charge of Martha Honey, the executive director of the Center for Responsible Tourism (Crest), an institution that is based in Washington, the United States.

The Spanish hotel group Iberostar also plans to present its businesses on Cuba and participants will visit sites of tourist interest.

The list of topics to be discussed includes congresses, meetings and incentives, and the opinions of entrepreneurs from the Spanish chain Melia Hotels International and Hoteles Cubanacan.
