Growing Trend in Bolivia's Tourism |

La Paz.- Tourism in Bolivia shows an average annual growth of 14 percent, thanks to government policies that positioned the country as a destination to visit in the region.
Executives from the state-owned company Boltur pointed out that Bolivian tourism ranked ninth among the countries in the region with the highest number of tourists in 2016.
Meanwhile, it is currently in the top five in the region, as a result of its diversified offers for ecotourism, community, adventure and history.
Over the past decade, Bolivia has reported a growth of more than 100 percent in national and foreign visitors.
In this regard, Boltur has promoted non-traditional tourism destinations over the past four years, and will work now to strengthen community options.
