Cuba Excels at Continental Junior Wrestling Championship |

Havana.- Cuba gave an outstanding performance at the Pan-American Junior Wrestling Championship, held in Guatemala.
Among women, Laura Herin (53 kilograms) and Dayselis Rodriguez (62 kg) won the title in their respective categories, while Milaymis Marin, Olympic youth champion in Buenos Aires in 2018, won the silver medal in the 76-kg division.
Herin and Rodriguez accumulated three successive victories each, to get the gold, while Marin only lost to Kenya Lee Elaine Sloan, from the United States.
Among men, Gabriel Rosillo (97 kg) and Damian Cristian Solenzal (67 kg) were the champions in the Greco-Roman modality.
Both wrestlers won the gold medals, so they qualified for the world championship in the junior category, scheduled from August 12 to 18 in Tallinn, Estonia.
