Cruise Ship Designed for Chinese Market
Monday, May 27, 2019

Rome.- The Costa Cruises company, specialized in cruise tourism, will have a second vessel that will be particularly dedicated to the Chinese market.

The Costa Firenze, which is being built in the Fincantieri shipyards in Marghera, Italy, will displace 135,000 tons and will carry more than 5,200 passengers.

The delivery of the Costa Firenze in 2020 is part of the shipping company's expansion plan, which includes the incorporation of seven ships by 2023.

The next vessel to be in service in October 2019 will be the Costa Esmeralda.

Costa Cruises was the first shipping company to operate in China in 2006 and is currently a leader in the sector, allowing guests from the Asian country to discover the Italian culture and lifestyle.
