Spanish Tourist Firms Interested in Cuban Destinations |

Havana.- Representatives of Spanish travel agencies visited several Cuban tourist destinations and expressed interest in enhancing the country's attractions.
In addition to places such as Havana, Varadero and the northern keys of Ciego de Avila, the experts visited the provinces of Santiago de Cuba, Holguín and Camagüey.
In Camagüey, they appreciated the elegance of the four-star hotels of the Cubanacan Ciudad Complex, which are highly demanded by Spanish holidaymakers.
Among the establishments are Camino de Hierro, Santa Maria, La Avellaneda, El Marques, La Sevillana and El Colonial, all of which are in an area that declared Humankind's Cultural Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Spain remains as one of Cuba's major tourist-sending market, and last year 167,970 tourists from that European country visited the Caribbean island.
