Cuba Hosts First Edition of Poetry Biennial |

Havana.- The first edition of the Poetry Biennial will bring together 200 creators from a dozen nations who will meet in the Cuban capital.
According to organizers, poets from Germany, Argentina, Estonia, Spain, Nigeria, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Russia and South Africa will be present at the event.
In addition, poets and publishers from the People's Republic of China will strengthen cultural relations with Cuban artists.
The Biennial will be inaugurated at the Lombillo Palace with the exhibition Faces that Hang Around from the Silence, by the Chinese painters Yue Minjun, Wu Yuan and Luo Min.
The event, which will have a community scope, will consist of poetry readings at schools and visits to cultural projects.
