Cuban Dairy Industry Works to Increase Production |

Havana.- The dairy industry in the eastern Cuban province of Camagüey, among the most important in the country, is working to increase production for the domestic market.
The territory has 13 productive establishments and two support centers, including factories that produce cheese, ice cream, yogurt and other dairy products.
The plants provide 11 varieties of cheese, including Azul, Patagras, Coral, Gouda, Caribbean, Santa Cruz, Cubanito, Mozarella and molten, Santa Maria, Gouda-type, fresh Creole, goat, buffalo and three milks.
In 2018, the company's supplied 1,000 tons of cheese to the tourism sector, while this year, it is expected to exceed 1,500 tons.
In addition, the company produces liquid rennet that is commercialized in the cooperative and peasant sector and supplied to other dairy industries in the country.
