Havana.- The rums from the Arecha and Valle brands, made in western Cuba, are gaining ground in the exportable offer of the island.
The sales strategy involves Empresa de Bebidas y Refrescos de Pinar del Rio, as well as Caribex S.A.
Efforts are oriented to use national and international fairs sponsored by Cuba for commercial purposes in light of the acceptance of these beverages.
By 2020, there are plans to build an aging warehouse in the Valle rum factory, with a greater capacity in relation to the current one to provide a significant benefit to the product.
The company makes over 20 lines, including rums, wines and soft drinks and annual revenues are close to 35 million pesos.
