Nature Tourism in Central Cuba |

Havana.- The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos will be one of the venues of the 12th edition of the nature tourism event TURNAT-2019.
According to organizers, the event will also take place in Cienaga de Zapata (Zapata Swamp), in the western province of Matanzas, and Trinidad, in Sancti Spiritus.
Among Cienfuegos's major natural options is El Nicho, which received more than 1,800 tourists in 2018, and offers interesting gastronomy proposals.
The province has good options for nature enthusiasts, such as farms in the mountains, including el Gallego Otero in Sierrita, the fruit tree farm in El Nicho and the ornamental plants farm.
Tourists can also visit El Jovero community, where the group Teatro de los Elementos has its venue and is linked to the Botanical Gardens with its collections of ficus, bamboo and palms.
