New Equipment for Cuban Obstetric Hospital |

Havana.- The United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) completed the delivery of new equipment to Hijas de Galicia Obstetric Hospital, in the Cuban capital.
The organization provided new instruments for child delivery and to treat complications, as well as for surgical procedures cesarean sections.
The equipment is part of modules that the fund has arranged to quickly deal with the impact of weather events and other emergencies.
In addition, oral and injectable contraceptives will be delivered to polyclinics in the Havana municipalities affected by a tornado recently.
In the coming months, cardio-tocographs, portable infusion pumps and fetal Doppler equipment, which are highly demanded in gynecological services will also arrive in the country.
