Santiago de Cuba Focuses on International Market |

Havana.- The eastern province of Santiago de Cuba focuses its attention on the international market with a view to encouraging exports.
According to experts, nearly two dozen new products and services with potential to be marketed in other nations have already been identified.
Among these are freshwater lobster, canned fruits, sandpapers, natural medicines, oral rehydration salts, rums, natural water, soft drinks and candies.
On the other hand, the investment alternatives for foreign capital in the territory are added, in order to encourage certain economic activities.
In this regard, the possibility to develop agricultural exports in Contramaestre stands out, together with the participation of a foreign company in the commercialization of the Santiago rum.
