Cuban Judokas Participate in First Competition in 2019 |

Havana.- Eight Cuban Judokas will participate in the Grand Slam Tournament in Paris (France) and will seek to win points for the world ranking.
The Cuban team includes Idalys Ortiz, Olympic and world champion, as well as first in the world ranking in the division of more than 78 kilograms in 2018.
Other members of the women's team are Nahomys Acosta (52 kg), Maylin del Toro (63) and Kaliema Antomarchi (78), while the men's team is made up of Ivan Silva, Osniel Solis, Jose Armenteros and Andy Granda.
The Cuban judokas will have a busy schedule with a main goal in the Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru, to be held from July 26 to August 11, 2019.
Another important event this year will be the World Championship in Tokyo, from August 25 to September 1, on the way to Olympic qualifications.
