Norwegian Cruise to Have Advanced Ships
Monday, January 14, 2019

Rome.- The Upper Premium brand of the Norwegian Cruise shipping company completed the order of two ships to the Fincantieri S.p.A shipyards to be delivered in 2022 and 2025.

According to industry sources, the value of the contract for each of the boats is around 575 million euros, as part of the renewal of the company's fleet.

The ships of the Allura class, of 67,000 tons each, will have a capacity of approximately 1,200 passengers, to which they will offer comfort and several new elements.

The incorporation of ships responds to the need to meet the demand for cruise vacations, oriented to the best destinations on the planet.

Oceania Cruises currently has a fleet of six small boats that can accommodate between 684 and 1,250 passengers, and makes stops in more than 450 ports.
