Cuba Promotes Increased Tourist Flow from China |

Havana.- Cuba is weighing the possibilities to increase the flow of holidaymakers from China, taking into account the potential of that Asian country.
According to official statistics, Cuban tourist destinations received some 46,000 Chinese vacationers last year, a 10-percent increase compared to 2017.
This way, China ranks 14th among Cuba's major tourist-sending markets.
The objective is to take full advantage of the potential of the weekly flight between China and Havana, operated by Air China with a stopover in Montreal, Canada.
In addition, a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba will participate in two of the most important fairs in the sector in China in 2019.
