Cuban Writer Wins Cultural Research Award |

Havana.- The Cuban writer Rafael Acosta de Arriba was awarded the Annual Prize for Cultural Research, granted by the Juan Marinello Institute.
The award is granted as recognition of the whole scientific work by those Cuban intellectuals who have significantly contributed to the development of national culture.
In Acosta de Arriba's, it holds important recognitions such as the Raison d'Etre Prize granted by the Alejo Carpentier Cultural Promotion Center in 1990.
In addition, his works include titles such as Fractura del Tiempo, Los Signos al Infinito, Avidez de la Palabra and Profecia del Vino.
He has also worked as the director of magazines like Cine Cubano, Arte Cubano and that of the National Library, with several articles published in Cuba and abroad.
