Havana.- The Cuban capital is executing a broad investment program for tourism, as part of the actions aimed at celebrating the five centuries of the city.

The plans include the construction of a dozen hotels that will provide more than 1,100 rooms, with an emphasis on the high standard segment.

The list of new establishments includes the hotels Linea and N, Cueto, Marques de Monte Hermoso, Gran Hotel, Prado and Malecon, Vedado Azul, Universitario and Portales de Paseo.

In addition, rehabilitation actions are planned in the hotels New York, Deauville, Lincoln, Riviera, Habana Libre, Sevilla, Cohiba, Colina, Vedado St. Johns, Neptuno-Triton and Copacabana.

Together with this, work will be undertaken in the Tarara and Hemingway marinas, and the Capdevila Golf Course, as well as the opening of the Beatles Bar, the Havana Discotheque and the Cena-Concert Complex in the Comodoro Hotel.
