Increased Alcohol Production Predicted in Cienfuegos |

Havana.- The company Alcoholes Finos de Caña S.A. (ALFICSA), based in the central Cuban province of Cienfuegos, plans the reactivation of its productive activity in 2019.
Specialized forces are focusing their efforts in all areas, with a view to rehabilitating the aforementioned industry, which was closed five years ago.
The first volumes of high-quality alcohol must be exported through the port of Cienfuegos, as established in the economic plans.
When it was inaugurated in 2000, the distillery had the capacity to produce up to 270,000 hectoliters of premium quality extra-fine alcohol every year.
The plant of fine alcohols was built with an investment of nearly 11 million dollars, and operated with state-of-the-art vacuum technology.
