Havana.- The city of Santa Clara, in the central province of Villa Clara, will host a new edition of the Longina Trova Festival this month.
On this occasion, the event will be dedicated to the Cuban decima and extends its usual spaces for the first time in an official way with literature, together with other events such as Cantoras Ella and Yo.
According to organizers, the Longina Festival will arrive in other cities of the country that will complement the activities of the main venue, including Matanzas and Trinidad.
Argentinean musicians likes Juan Quintero, now as Trio Segret-Quintero-Pilar, along with Parana Berreta and Chile's Magdalena Matthey will attend the festival.
The venues will be Mejunje de Silverio, La Caridad Theater, the City Museum, the UNEAC Patio and the AHS Patio, as well as community touring concerts in several municipalities of the province.
