Cuban Emblematic Film Screened in Havana after Restoration

Havana: - The film "Memories of Underdevelopment", by the filmmaker Tomas Gutierrez Alea, was screened again in Havana 50 years after its premiere in Cuba.

The motion is considered the best Ibero-American film of the 20th century and was screened again in Cuban theaters after the restoration made by the US film company The Criterium Collectiom.

Starring in Sergio Corrieri, Daisy Granados and Eslinda Nuñez, "Memories of Underdevelopment" is an introspective and ironic story that shows an intellectual from the bourgeois middle class in the midst of a vertiginous and changing Revolution.

The rating responds to a conducted by the Spanish digital site Noticine, among professionals, critics, journalists, festival organizers and movie fans from around the world.

Likewise, the film was also included in a New York Times guide on the 1,000 best films of all time.
