Havana.- The Plaza Hotel, located in Puerto Padre, in the eastern Cuban province of Las Tunas, is benefiting from an extensive investment program with a view to its recovery.
The initial actions focus on demolition and shoring, with a view to eliminating the structures with no useful life.
This way, secondary walls will be demolished, and the portal and the façade will be secured, using the necessary equipment for the removal of the debris.
The reconstruction of the Plaza Hotel will allow developing city tourism and guaranteeing accommodation for both local and foreign holidaymakers.
The reconstruction works are estimated at three million pesos.
